 Any good utilties for ppp.log
Author: unwired

Anyone out there know of some good utilities for 'pulling' information out of the ppp.log? (for those of us still stuck in a dialup world..)

Would love to get dialup attempts, bytes transferred, etc..

TIA

it's not a ppp log thing, but mrtg will show nifty graphs of bytes in and out over time. it's in the ports, but if you're doing stats on your modem, you'll need a snmpd running on your machine too. a couple of simple scripts may be able to get your dial attempts out of it as well.
