 KDE problem, library error.
Author: Fred Evans
Date:   10-01-01 22:52

I installed KDE on FreeBSD 3.3 and it not start. I get the following error:

/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1 shared object not found libstdc++.so.3

I upgraded to FreeBSD 3.5.1 stable by cvs. I did a make world, followed by a make kernel but I still have the error.

What library do I need to re-install? It can't be a permissions problem because I'm running X as root. The logon screen will display, but after I enter my name and password, it drops back to the console and show the error.
