Hi,
I was trying to do a mass upgrade on my ports with portupgrade -af -l portuplog.log but there are certain ports that always stop at the blue options screens for input.. On this machine all the ports installed use the default option. Is there any way to force portupgrade to use the default/previously used options, so I can leave the portupgrade process overnight?
Thanks,

Try this, assuming the bash shell, before issuing the command:
export BATCH=yes

Thanks! That should do the trick.
Has any one come up with a nifty way to search for portupgrade problems when you do a mass port upgrade?
