Hi,
I'm with a big problem.
I'm trying to install the FreeBSD 6.2, but the OS no
recognize my SAS disks.
I'm using one Adaptec RAID 3805 SAS in RAID0.
My computer informations are:
CPU: Intel Xeon Quad-Core 1.6GHZ
Motherboard: Supermicro X7DB3
Memory: 4GB Kingston DDR2 667MHZ
HD: 3x 300GB Seagate SAS
Disk Controller: Adaptec RAID 3805
OS: FreeBSD 6.2
When I try to install the FREEBSD, the OS no recognize the
disks, and the controller.
In Adaptec website have one drive for FreeBSD, but I don't know how
I use this drive in instalattion of FreeBSD.
Somebody pass for this problem?

Did you check that Adaptec RAID 3805 is supported by FreeBSD 6.2? If so, where did you see this?

Hey,
I built a release ISO of FreeBSD-6.2 32-bit x86 with some code from the FreeBSD 6.0/6.1 drivers off of the Adaptec website so the install disc comes up with support for the Adaptec 3405 and 3805. It is based on 6.2-STABLE.
I was able to use it to install fresh onto a system with an Adaptec 3405.
If you need a link to the ISO just contact me at the website below (please use the e-mail in the contact area) and I'll send you the link.
Steve
