 BSD: Canon printer install

Hello,

i have installed a canon printer IR3570 using the ppd file from the CDrom that came with the printer. I am using CUPS 1.2.2 on FreeBSD 6.2. it only prints garbages, the first line prints as this

---

POST /ipp/port1 HTTP/1.1
Content-Length: 267
Content-Type: application/ipp
Host:196.2.141.38
User-AgentL CUPS/1.2.2
Expect: 100-continue

the rest is garbage
