Hello
I'm running freebsd stable 6.1. Out of the ports tree I installed mysql client 5.0 and sever mysql 5.0. Mysql server is running, but not sure how to connect to it with my script I want to use. I tried putting [ localhost ], [ mysql ] and even the [ ip address ] for the settings to connect from my script I bought to the mysql server. The script is on the same server. I think the mysql server is blocking it, is there some setting to open this up to work?
I spent all last night trying to get it to work, any ideas , please help
