/var space issue

Hi all,

My /var is a little small and I have a large mail item in spool that was sent to me and I can't get it because of the space shortage. I remember that there is a way to move the item over to /usr or someplace and then run something via command line that you can point to the message so it will deliver to the mailbox so I can pop it out. I can't remember what command it is and I can't seem to find it on google. Anyhelp? I know how to mv stuff.

i suggest creating a file in /var/tempfile and then ls -s /var/tempfile /usr/tempfile

do some research on ls -s

I think you mean "ln".
