I have a web application hosted on Apache 2.4.03.

The current url for the application is http://www.mywebapp.com/main.html
Now I have configured the webserver to use SSL certificates for encrypting purposes. The url now becomes https://www.mywebapp.com/main.html

A whole bunch of my users have the old url as favorites. In order to make this change transparent, I believe the right approach is to add the "rewrite" section in my appl's httpd.conf file.
Could you advise me how to go about it ?

Thanks in advance.
